About
I’ve always considered myself a generalist. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Design in 2012 at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, I’ve worked in design agencies, tech startups, the public service, and founded my own company. My projects ranged from illustration, to book design, to web development.
Inspired by my Nanny's prolific quilting, in 2017 I took a beginner quilting class at Patch Halifax that started me on my own quilting journey. I felt a connection to the craft and soon saw an opportunity that could combine tradition with modern design.
These days I’m focusing on illustration and pattern design for modern, folk-inspired quilts. I am endlessly inspired by the east coast of Canada and I like to bring elements of folk art and Atlantic Canada landscapes into my work.
